SAME-DAY TOURISTS FROM WESTERN VISAYAS ALSO ALLOWED TO ENTER BORACAY

Boracay Station One

Boracay, the country’s premiere island resort destination and hailed as the number one island in Asia, reopens its ports not only to overnight tourists but also to same-day tourists from the Western Visayas Region.

If you are from the Western Visayas Region and want to visit Boracay, you just need to do the following:

1. At the port of entry (Caticlan Jetty Port or Tabon Jetty Port, depending on the tide), wear your face mask and observe physical distancing.

Same-Day Tourists from Western Visayas Region are allowed to enter Boracay Island.

2. Submit yourself to a temperature check at the entrance of the tourist verification counters.

3. Show any valid government Identification Card for verification and fill out a One-Day Entry/Exit Pass

4. Pay the corresponding boat fare (Php 40.00) and terminal fee (Php 175.00).

Overnight tourists from the Western Visayas Region need to show a hotel booking confirmation from any of the accredited hotels for the duration of their stay on the island.

A boat ride to Cagban Port on Boracay Island from Caticlan Jetty Port takes only 15 to 20 minutes.

Look for queues of E-trike outside Cagban Port. The regular fare from Cagban Port to Station Three is Php 20 and to Station Two or One is Php 30.

While on the island, remember to stay safe and wear your mask and sunblock regularly. Note that curfew is from 9 PM to 5 AM. Seniors and people below 21 years old are not allowed to swim in the beach. Swimming hours is from 6 AM to 6 PM.
