Sandugo or blood compact in English was performed between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, Spanish explorer, and Datu Sikatuna, Chieftain of Bohol, on March 16, 1565 as a symbol of friendship.

The partnership was signed in February by Bohol Provincial Governor Edgar Chatto and the airline’s CEO Captain Dexter Comendador.
