The 2nd instalment features my brother’s top three skin care tips.

He ensures that he:
1. cleanses his face properly;
2. keeps himself hydrated by drinking enough water daily and moisturising his face and body, and;
3. gets enough sleep

As a stress reliever, he finds time to play his favourite online role-playing game, DOTA. Add him up, look for the player Totoro (I hope I got the name right).

Since my brother just kept going and going during the shoot and he just could not control himself to talk about his latest skin care find, there will be a third part featuring the Glacial Marine Mud. It was Mud Pack Saturday anyway. So, the heck, why not?

This is the first part of a series. My brother, Jem aka Jemdahunk, the author of the viral video “How To Dance In A Club” joins me to talk about what he has been up to lately, his skin care routine and everything in between.

It has been a long time since he has done any online video lately. That is why I willed myself to avoid splicing the chit chat during video editing to keep its authenticity. Hence, the reason for the 3-part series. Otherwise, I would end up with a 15-minute video. I will be uploading the 2nd and 3rd parts soon.

It is of utmost importance that all (men included) take good care of their skin. Let me keep it simple. The basic rule is to cleanse, tone, moisturize and protect. Use products that can do all four while at the same time hydrating the skin.

Hydration is key. Trust products that are dermatologically tested, too. Choose what is good for the skin or what is Hiyang. Hiyang is a Filipino term which means compatible. One’s skin care routine does not have to be tedious. The simpler the better. Consistency, my friend, is the objective. Just do the routine on a daily basis. Remember to consult a dermatologist, too. We have different skin types and the products that I am using may not be suitable for your skin type.
