Join me as I spend the day buying my favorite books in the ongoing Scholastic Warehouse Sale in C. Raymundo Avenue, Pasig City. The sale will run until June 18, 2017.

After getting my loot, I went to meet Ortigas Central Business District to have lunch and catch up with my friend, Fritzie. We went to Senor Pollo and enjoyed a sumptuous meal. Their Southern Iced Tea is thirst quenching especially after spending a lot of time in the sun walking. The Senor Pollo Chicken Roast tops my list of chicken recipe favorites! Well cooked yet tender. The sauce or dip is to die for, too. Chimichurri. The waiter told me that Chimichurri is a blend of parley, olive oil and garlic just to mention a few. Because we were so full, we decided to have a short walk in Sapphire Bloc. Lo and behold! Did this building just sprout from somewhere? I was surprised that a lot of decent restaurants are housed there. I should go back there soon.

The yearly warehouse sale of Scholastic is back starting April 18 to June 18, 2017. They will be open everyday, Monday to Sunday, from 9 AM to 6 PM at 70 C. Raymundo Street, Pasig City.

They have three amazing offerings:

1. Enjoy up to 70% off on selected titles like Harry Potter, Clifford, Geronimo Stilton and lots of children’s books.

2. For only P799, avail of the Box-All-You-Can Book Buffet. A Scholastic Buffet Box will be provided upon entry. You can stack books up to the rim. Books that will exceed the rim will be removed. No folding, rolling or reshaping of the books. Damaged books will be considered sold. No return, no exchange and no refund policy will be followed.

3. For only P350, register your kids to the Summer Reading Fun. This is open to kids from four to 10 years old. Also for kids three years old and below as long as they will be accompanied by an adult. The registration fee is inclusive of Build-A-Book Kit, snacks, certificate and a Special Gift from Scholastic. Available slots are April 22 and 29, May 6, 13, 20 & 27 and June 3, 10 and 17. There will be two sessions: Morning (9:30 to 11:30) and Afternoon (1:30 to 3:30).  There will be a maximum of 12 kids per session. Book your slots now!
