IMUS, CAVITE TO BE FEATURED ON ME AND MY TOWN- GMA NEWS TV’S NEWEST TRAVEL SHOW

Me and My Town, the newest Magazine and Travel TV Show, is premiering this August 12, 2018, Sunday, at 9:30 AM on GMA News TV Channel 11. On its pilot episode, Me and My Town will feature the modern and historic city of Imus, Cavite. Me and My Town will also feature the thriving city’s modern plants and factories.
Me and My Town aims to promote the unique charm of cities and towns in the Philippines. Hosted by veteran broadcast journalist and long time friend Kathy San Gabriel, Me & My Town will feature tourist attractions, food, culture and the arts one town at a time.
On each episode, the show will invite a prominent personality who is a native of the place to bring the viewers around and introduce what makes the town different from other towns.
For the pilot episode, Congressman Alex “AA” Advincula, an Imuseno, will be co-hosting and will bring Kathy and the viewers to the historic site of “Battle of Imus” and to the newly constructed hospital and schools. Further, Congressman AA will share the city’s vision, projects and infrastructure programs.
Each thirty-minute episode is also packed with valuable travel tips.
I was invited to the launch yesterday, August 8, 2018, at the Xing Oriental Bistro in San Juan, Metro Manila. I joined other Travel Bloggers and members of the media.
The show’s executives promise that Me and My Town will not be the usual magazine and travel show. It aims to ignite the Filipino’s love for one’s town.
Me and My Town is produced by The Concept Workshop and airs every Sunday, 9:30 AM on GMA News TV channel 11.
